I'm an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP/FGV). My research is focused on the ripple effects of impact-oriented initiatives. Whether initiated by governments, for-profits, or public-private collaborations, these impact-driven projects often give rise to unforeseen consequences. These consequences can manifest as a broader and more profound impact than initially anticipated, or, conversely, as negative repercussions despite the best of intentions. I aim at disentangling those and unpacking how positive impact can be sustained in the long run, aligning the achievement of social goals with organizations' financial needs.
